All our volunteer projects focus on the community and are carefully vetted by our local staff team to ensure that project goals are met and participants go home feeling rewarded. We work with children and women for education mainly and we partner with poorly managed schools, local NGOs, and grass root organizations, to help support them to achieve their goals through our volunteers. Our tours are also handpicked an they are unique, safe and fun. We use local guides and our local staff is always on hand to support anyone joining us.
Through this experience one can not only learn about local people who lead very different lives, but also contribute to our partner communities and go home feeling inspired and fulfilled.
What really differentiates us from the rest of the volunteer organizations is that we combine some bespoke experience in India for you. We make sure you are not stuck in touristic activities and get an authentic and real experience of India with locals. On your volunteering program you will get to work with locals in very local areas and on the weekend you will be doing some fun and unique tours that we organise for you. This is of course optional!
In terms of your life on project: We would be providing everything from airport pickup & drop, accommodation in a nice and clean guest house/home stay, 3 meals a day, 24/7 staff support, project costs and all logistics to project sites.
Before arrival you will be sent a pre-departure pack detailing which airport to fly to, India guide as well as training manual for your project.
On arrival you will be given a welcome presentation, area orientation, health and safety training, culture training, as well project work training.
During the project you will be having meetings with the local coordinator assigned to you as well as your project manager.
