There are a lot of women in India who are battling financially due to lack of education and hence jobs, are physically abused and resort to prostitution and also who are mentally and physically challenged. These women are vulnerable and are suppressed and become weak. Many NGOs work with these women to help them become strong independant women.
Your role will be to assist the women in the work that they do as well as helping them to organize and conducting and being in charge of certain projects that you can start. It is a very rewarding and fulfilling experience to spend time with these women and helping them and the NGO staff. You can also get involved with marketing activities for the NGO such as taking care of social media or simply helping them to do some fundraising.
By our support and volunteer help they are able to conduct more activities and get additional help in planning and organizing activities that will benefit these women in the long run.
