Loma Mar All CampSince 1914, Camp Loma Mar has offered a rich tradition of values programming in a wonderful outdoor setting. Surrounded by giant redwoods, campers make friendships and memories that last a lifetime. We offer fun-filled summer and family camp experiences, as well as a great location for your next retreat or special event.
Location
Loma Mar is located in the Pescadero Valley, 15 miles south of Half Moon Bay and just 10 miles inland from the Pacific Ocean. The YMCA bought the 100-acre parcel of land in 1937. Today, it provides a natural setting of open spaces, recreation fields, oak trees and majestic redwoods along the banks of Pescadero Creek.
Facilities
We have hiking trails, a swimming pool, a low ropes course, arts and crafts, basketball and volleyball courts, a campfire bowl and stage, and a climbing wall. Generations of campers have enjoyed the fun and excitement of the great outdoors in this beautiful, pristine setting.
Camp Programs
Camp Loma Mar is accredited through the American Camping Association. We provide children with new and exciting experiences, positive role models, an opportunity to challenge themselves, and a chance to spend a portion of their summer actively learning in a fun and safe outdoor environment. Camp Loma Mar held the earliest “ragger” programs, a leadership development activity that teaches values and builds character.
