Requirements

You will usually need a Bachelor's degree and a recognised CELTA, TESOL or TEFL certificate

 

Visa

If you live in Ireland, or the EU then you don't need to apply for a visa to work in Ireland. If you are from overseas outside of the EU then you will need to apply for a visa independently before applying for jobs. There are various agencies which also help Americans and other citizens with the visa application and also give help and assistance on the process and move.

 

Working Week

You can expect to teach for around 20-25 hours per week.
